2. Description of Services
World Budo Arts provides online martial arts training and education services, including:
- Access to instructional video content and training materials
- Video review services where instructors provide feedback on submitted techniques
- Private one-on-one virtual lessons with Shihan Tom Callahan
- Community features and event information
- Newsletter and educational communications
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Subscription and Payments
4.1 Subscription Plans
We offer monthly and annual subscription plans that provide access to our training content and services. Subscription details and pricing are displayed at the time of purchase.
4.2 Billing
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
4.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
4.4 Free Video Review
Active subscribers receive one complimentary video review per month. Additional video reviews may be purchased separately.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the services for any unlawful purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Copy, distribute, or share our proprietary content without permission
- Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Interfere with or disrupt the services or servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the services
- Use automated systems or software to extract data from the services
- Impersonate any person or entity
6. Intellectual Property
All content on World Budo Arts, including videos, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by World Budo Arts or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. User-Generated Content
When you submit videos or other content for review, you retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive license to use, store, and process the content for the purpose of providing our services. You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
8. Physical Activity Disclaimer
Important: Martial arts training involves physical activity that carries inherent risks of injury. By using our services, you acknowledge that:
- You should consult with a physician before beginning any exercise program
- You participate in training activities at your own risk
- World Budo Arts is not responsible for any injuries that may occur
- You are responsible for ensuring exercises are appropriate for your fitness level
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, World Budo Arts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the services.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless World Budo Arts and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the services or violation of these terms.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to access the services will immediately cease.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Changes to Terms
